Commercial
Due dilligence, asset improvement & Landlord Advisory
We undertake technical due diligence on behalf of landlords, property investors and purchasers, seeking to acquire or dispose of assets across the commercial, retail, industrial and education sectors.
We have surveyed and assessed a wide range of commercial property, from standard industrial units to highly serviced research laboratories at the University of Oxford. We can engage with specialist sub-consultants on your behalf, including Fire Engineers, EPC assessors, Structural Engineers and M&E designers, to ensure that the best project and consultant team are at your disposal, with us as your single point of contact.
Our core commercial work involves the provision of advice to landlords and property management companies seeking to optimise their asset(s), typically via refurbishment and maintenance works, often to attract and accommodate new tenants.
For longer term asset management, we are able to advise on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies, repairing obligations and energy improvements to meet current regulatory requirements. We can coordinate and oversee cyclical maintenance works, re-roofing and other Capital Works projects.
We have undertaken numerous assessments for the purpose of Building Reinstatement Insurance (RCAs) and have advised both Landlords and Tenants in relation to dilapidations liability and Statutory compliance.
